Born in Paris from Moroccan parents, Hafi has been living in Australia for the past 14 years.  She moved to Townsville with her family a year ago. She studied Management of human resources and social relations back in Paris. She has spent most of her career in compliance and regulatory affairs within several industries.
She is an enthusiastic dynamic social butterfly who enjoys meeting new people and learning from everyone’s experience. She enjoys dancing, live music, travelling and great food .

Born in Le Mans (France – city famous for the annual race), Martin has lived a part of his life in the south of France. After graduating in engineering, he had a chance to relocate in Australia about 12 years ago. 

He loves sailing and everything related to boats. He has a sweet tooth so don’t leave anything sweet around him…It will disappear very quickly!  Not surprising as his dad was a baker.

We will have a chance to appreciate his baking skills very soon…

Born in Casablanca (Morocco),  Bouchra  has lived in Brisbane for many years and has recently relocated to Townsville.  She has a robust career in education and is currently working at James Cook University. She enjoys learning new skills, walking, nature and movies.  She is a foodie too so she will bring some spices to our baking workshops. Watch the space!

Born in Rouen (France) Pierre has lived in Australia for a decade  Initially willing to discover the beauty of the country, he decided to settle in Townsville with his little family.

Pierre is always happy to give a hand when he is available.  He is currently volunteering a part of his spare time offering driving lessons to the teenagers in needs. 

He enjoys reading, playing rugby union and petanque.

Born in Japan, Eiko has lived a part of her life in Switzerland where her daughter currently lives.  She is a former chef who enjoys cooking and trying different food from all over the world.

Eiko enjoys walking her 2 little dogs and loves to do fitness workouts in her free time. She would love to visit New Caledonia in the future. She is looking forwards meeting the members and students of the Alliance.

Born in Lille (France), Jordan has done 2 internships with the Alliance Francaise de Townsville which enabled him to support his studies and finalise his Master Degree in French Language.

Jordan felt in love with Townsville’s lifestyle and tropical weather and decided to settle for good . He loves music, reading, discovering new places and bushwalking as well.  Jordan enjoys tutoring the evening group classes and sharing his knowledge. He is very approachable and always happy to help.
